A 29-year-old Macomb Township man killed in a hit-and-run last week was struck by a "light khaki metallic" colored Jeep, according to updated details released Thursday by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

Kevin Clay Fletcher was hit around 1:20 a.m. Saturday while riding his bicycle home from work at P.F. Chang's restaurant in Partridge Creek, officials said. The collision occurred as he was in the crosswalk at Romeo Plank and Hall roads.

The vehicle left the scene, traveling north on Romeo Plank.

Officials on Thursday described the vehicle as a 2005-07 Jeep, possibly a Jeep Cherokee. It was "light khaki metallic" in color and should have visible damage to the passenger side, including headlight, side of the vehicle and rear wheel well.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office at (586) 307-9412.
