Police investigate threat at Eisenhower High School
Shelby Township Police are investigating an alleged threat made at Eisenhower High School, according to a letter sent to parents Monday afternoon.
The letter from Eisenhower High School Principal Nanette Chesney described the threat as “unsubstantiated”, and provided no further details. The letter didn’t say who was involved, but noted that “The student involved will be appropriately disciplined.”
Phone calls to the school district and Shelby Township Police were not immediately returned.
“The issue was immediately addressed by our staff and we are working closely with the Shelby Township Police Department.” Chesney wrote to parents.
“All reports of threatening behavior are taken seriously and appropriate action is being taken by the district and law enforcement.”
