Police probe Mt. Clemens school shooting threat

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a student threatened to "shoot up" Mt. Clemens High School on Friday.

A student involved in a fight on a bus threatened to "shoot up" Mt. Clemens High School on Thursday, prompting a police investigation.

According to police, two students had been fighting on a school bus Thursday when one student made the threat. A second threat related to the first was reported to have been made via social media on Friday.

Neither of the students involved in the fight came to school Friday and school continued as normal with police on hand to investigate. 

Mt. Clemens High School serves 9-12 graders.

No other information was released.
