2 sought in Roseville 7-Eleven robbery

Roseville police are seeking tips to find two people wanted in connection with a robbery at a 7-Eleven this week.

The pair walked into the convenience store near 13 Mile and Gratiot at about 11:45 p.m. Monday and tried to buy a soft drink, investigators said in a statement.

Police said they are looking for two people who stole items from a convenience store near 13 Mile and Gratiot on Monday night.

After one of the suspects placed money on the counter and the store clerk opened the register, his companion jumped over and "bear hugged" the worker, the release said. The other suspect "then turned and grabbed the cash from the register."

Both suspects fled the scene, but surveillance footage captured the incident.

One is described as an African-American man wearing all black, a Detroit hat, a Nike hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.

The other is described as a black male who was wearing a gray/green sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
