The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public's help for leads on a possible drive-by shooting that caused one injury as well as property damage late Sunday night.

The shooting took place at 11:40 p.m. on the 26000 block of Normandy, which is south of Interstate 696 and west of I-94.

More than 12 shots were fired, hitting two homes, one parked car, and injuring one person who was cut by glass from a shot-out home window, according to a statement the department released Monday afternoon.

Police have little to go on as the investigation begins: no suspect description, no vehicle description, no known motivation for why someone would want to shoot up that block in particular.

Roseville police ask that anyone with information on the shooting to call Det. Jacob Sidaway at (586) 447-4511.
