Police: Alcohol possible factor in crash killing Clinton Twp. biker
A 46-year-old Clinton Township man died Saturday night when his motorcycle was hit by a Chevy Malibu in a crash in which alcohol or drugs may have been a factor, police said.
The crash took place at 9:55 p.m. at Harper and 15 Mile, Clinton Township police said.
The biker, identified as Carl Evans, was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson southbound on Harper when he was hit by a 2015 black Chevy Malibu.
After the impact, Evans was thrown from his bike. Medics took him to a hospital where he died from his injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
The driver of the Malibu stayed at the scene and was arrested, pending charges.
