The Roseville Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that took place early Monday morning, wherein the robber used a note — no gun was ever visible — to successfully demand cash.

The bank robbery took place at 9:10 a.m. at the Fifth Third Bank at Gratiot, south of Frazho Road.

Police say the male suspect approached a teller window and handed the teller a note demanding money, and implying he had a gun. The teller complied with his orders, and the suspect left the bank with "an undetermined amount of currency" before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and ask anyone who has information on the bank robbery to share what they know at (586) 447-4483.
