Authorities are investigating a pair of robberies reported this week at Roseville businesses.

Police say a man in dark clothing entered a Family Dollar in the 26100 block of Gratiot about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, "fired several times into the ceiling ... then took an undetermined amount of money from the register" before fleeing on foot.

Responding officers set up a perimeter and deployed a K-9 unit but could not find the suspect, who is described as an African-American between 18 and 25 years old.
