Suspects sought in robberies at Roseville Family Dollar, 7-Eleven
Authorities are investigating a pair of robberies reported this week at Roseville businesses.
Police say a man in dark clothing entered a Family Dollar in the 26100 block of Gratiot about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, "fired several times into the ceiling ... then took an undetermined amount of money from the register" before fleeing on foot.
Responding officers set up a perimeter and deployed a K-9 unit but could not find the suspect, who is described as an African-American between 18 and 25 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call Roseville Police Department detectives at (586) 447-4507.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan is also offering a $1,000 reward to find a suspect who allegedly walked into a 7-Eleven on Masonic near Little Mack on Tuesday, "went to the register, produced a handgun and demanded the cashier to give him money," the group said.
He is described as between 6 feet and 6-feet-2, 190-220 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and black shoes.
