Roseville police are looking for this man who robbed a Microtel lobby early Thursday morning.

Roseville police are asking the public for help to find an armed man who robbed a motel early Thursday, officials said.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. at the Microtel on 13 Mile near Little Mack, according to authorities.

Police said the suspect entered the motel's lobby carrying a gas can and told the clerk his car broke down. He walked out of the lobby, returned minutes later with a gun in his left hand, officials said.

He demanded the clerk, who is pregnant, open the cash register and give him all of the money inside it.

Several witnesses were in the lobby at the time, according to officials. One of them was a 13-year-old girl, who the suspect allowed to move from one place to sit next to her mother.

The suspect demanded everyone in the lobby give him their cell phones and everyone complied, police said.

He then left the lobby on foot in an unknown direction, official said. No injuries were reported.

Investigators released images of the suspect captured by the motel's security surveillance system.

Roseville police are searching for this man in connection with the early Thursday morning robbery of a Microtel.
