Roseville police are looking for the suspect or suspects who shot out some windows on a SMART bus Monday evening, officials said.

Officers were called at about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday to respond to a report about the incident, which happened as the bus traveled south on Gratiot Avenue near Frazho Road, police said.

The officers arrived and found two of the bus' windows had been shattered, according to officials.

There were nine passengers on the bus and no one was injured, authorities said.

Police said investigators believe the damage was caused by some type of BB or pellet gun that was fired at the bus from a passing vehicle.

Officials said a similar incident happened in the city of Eastpointe not long after the bus' windows were shattered in Roseville.

Police do not have any information on the suspect or suspects.
