Clinton Township police seek man seen hitting dog on Snapchat

Clinton Township police are seeking the public's help in locating a man who is captured on video hitting a dog.

Once the video surfaced Friday, Clinton Township Police Department and Macomb County Animal Control acted quickly retreating to a suspected location where the incident may have taken place, officials said.

However, when they arrived to the suspected home, officials could not locate the owner or the dog.

Police are seeking help identifying and locating this man.

Police are searching for the man who punched a pitbull in the face and the person who recorded the video, which was uploaded to Snapchat. 

Detroit Pit Crew Rescue is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. 

Animal Control officials were not able to immediately comment Saturday.
