Police accuse student of making threat against Eastpointe High School

Eastpointe — Police said Monday they are questioning an Eastpointe High School student who allegedly made a threat against other students.

The student allegedly threatened "to shoot the place up," according to authorities.

Officials said the school was place on a temporary lock down as a precaution.

School has resumed normal operation, police said.

Officers took the student to the police station and located a pellet gun in a backpack, they said.
