Police ask public for help to find missing Detroit teen

Detroit — Police are asking for the public to help find a missing 17-year-old girl.

Tanechia Turner was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Fenkell and Bentler on the city's northwest side, officials said.

She is about 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, according to police.

Officials also said Turner suffers from depression and her mother is concerned for the girl's safety.
