Port Huron — Officials plan to use a remote operated vehicle as part of the ongoing search for a 19-year-old man who disappeared in the St. Clair River during the annual Float Down event on the U.S.-Canada border waterway.

The Times Herald reports the St. Clair County sheriff’s dive team is to deploy the camera-equipped vehicle on Tuesday.

The U.S. Coast Guard, meanwhile, has stopped looking for Brady Morton, who went missing Sunday.

Petty Officer Christopher Yaw tells The Flint Journal that crews exhausted all leads and resources as part of their effort to find the Fenton man.

According to officials, Morton was floating with a group of about 40 people when he left his raft to go swimming. His friends say he never came back.
