Michigan woman receives lost 1954 class ring
Monitor Township — A 1954 high school class ring has been returned to its owner in Michigan nearly 60 years after it went missing.
The Bay City Times reports Dolores Rogers of Monitor Township recently received a call from a former classmate. The classmate’s sister had found a Visitation High School class ring with the initials DMB in their deceased mother’s jewelry box.
Rogers’ maiden name is Barron. She says she can’t think of how her classmate’s mom came to have the ring. She says she lost it after graduation and might have been at a dance near the classmate’s house.
Rogers says she was stunned to see that the ring still fits.
