Frenchtown Township — Authorities are searching for a 22-year-old woman who was last seen at a weekend Halloween party in southeastern Michigan.

A vigil was held Tuesday night for Chelsea Bruck. The Monroe County sheriff's department says the woman from Maybee went missing early Sunday in Frenchtown Township.

Kassie Bruck, 24, could not hold back the tears while hugging her mother, Leannda Bruck, at a candlelight vigil in Frenchtown Township for her sister, Chelsea Bruck, who has been missing since Sunday morning.

On Tuesday, a search of the area where the party took place was conducted by helicopter and ground teams using all-terrain vehicles.

In a photo provided by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, a search poster for Chelsea Bruck is shown.

The department says a witness reported seeing Bruck about 3 a.m. with a man, walking in the direction of where cars were parked. She was wearing a costume of the fictional comic villain Poison Ivy, including a leaf-covered top and a dark purple wig.

The investigation is ongoing. Tips are being sought by investigators.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at (734) 240-7700 or Monroe County Central Dispatch at (734) 243-7070.
