Posen — Authorities have identified two men found fatally shot in the northern Lower Peninsula as brothers.

The Presque Isle County sheriff’s department in Rogers City says it got a call about 8 a.m. Thursday about a possible shooting. The department says that deputies went to the scene and 60-year-old Eugene Hincka and 48-year-old Henry Hincka were found dead.

A suspect who lived nearby was arrested and could be arraigned Friday. The circumstances of the killings are under investigation.

The killings took place at the home of the brothers in Pulawski Township, located about 100 miles east-northeast of Traverse City.
