ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) โ€” A 21-year-old South Carolina man has been convicted for his role in the slaying of a University of Michigan medical student during a robbery near the school's Ann Arbor campus.

The Ann Arbor News reports that a Washtenaw County jury announced Tuesday that Joei Jordan was guilty of felony murder, home invasion and conspiracy to commit home invasion.

Jordan will be sentenced March 11.

Twenty-five-year-old Paul DeWolf was attending medical school on an Air Force scholarship when he was shot during a 2013 armed robbery at the medical fraternity where he lived.

Two other men โ€” 22-year-old Dajeon Franklin and 22-year-old Shaquille Jones โ€” already have been convicted in DeWolf's death. Franklin is serving life without parole. Jones was sentenced to up to 50 years.
