Man found shot to death after domestic violence call

Associated Press

Ransom Township — Police are investigating the shooting death of a 47-year-old man in Hillsdale County’s Ransom Township.

Authorities say sheriff’s deputies found James Momenee’s body about 1:45 a.m. Thursday after responding to a domestic violence call.

Undersheriff Roger Boardman tells MLive.com Friday that the complaint involved a married couple at a home about 85 miles southwest of Detroit.

No arrests have been made.
