Flint — A man who authorities say shot up the home of his ex-wife’s boyfriend near Flint and rammed three emergency vehicles, injuring three officers, is facing charges.

The Flint Journal reports 44-year-old Mark Vincent Meuhlen of Millington was arraigned Wednesday on charges including home invasion, assault and malicious destruction of police property.

A not guilty plea was entered. Records don’t list a defense lawyer for Meuhlen. His next court date is April 23.

Authorities say Meuhlen fired several shots Sunday evening into the boyfriend’s home in Genesee County’s Vienna Township home, then broke in and pointed an assault rifle and handgun at the man.

Authorities say Meuhlen agreed to follow his ex-wife to a sheriff’s substation, where the vehicles were rammed.
