Isolated thuderstorms possible today in Metro Detroit
The weather forecast for the next two days will be warm and sunny followed by a touch or two of rain.
“We have a front that will be moving into the area bringing with it a chance of showers and thunderstorms starting Wednesday afternoon,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Sara Schultz, working from the White Lake Township station. “There’s a chance that a few of those isolated thunderstorms could be strong with gusty winds. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s with a nighttime low of about 66.”
Thursday’s weather: dry and sunny with temperatures in the mid-80s. The nighttime low will be in the mid-60s.

Wednesday: There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms beginning in the afternoon. The high will be 87.

Thursday: Sunny with a high of 83. A chance of wind gusts up to 26 mph.
Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low of about 61.
Friday: Sunny with a high near 84.
Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low of around 61.
Saturday: Sunny and 80.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy and 61.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high of 80. A small chance of showers.
Sunday night: A chance of rain with a low of about 63.
