Man who was school bus aide faces sentence

Associated Press

Traverse City — A northern Michigan school bus aide who says he “lost it” and twisted the arm of a teenager is returning to a Traverse City court for his sentence.

William Rosinski pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree child abuse charge, a misdemeanor. He’s returning to 86th District Court on Monday.

Rosinski says he twisted a 13-year-old student’s arm and pushed him up against the side of a bus in September after the boy became agitated.

Judge Thomas Phillips plans to look at video of the incident. Rosinski was a bus aide for Dean Transportation, a company that transports students in the Traverse City area.
