WSGW-AM reports the injuries weren’t believed to be life-threatening.
Police say the man suspected in the stabbing fled afterward and was being sought Thursday morning. He’s identified as a 61-year-old from Florence, Texas, who had driven to Michigan.
Doug Luczak, the funeral home’s owner, tells The Bay City Times he was in an office at the time of the stabbing and says police swiftly responded.
