2 brothers get perfect ACT scores
Ann Arbor — Two brothers who go to an Ann Arbor high school have gotten perfect scores on the ACT.
The Ann Arbor News reports Basil and Hamza Baccouche, who go to Ann Arbor’s Pioneer High School, have each gotten a 36 composite score on the exam. Basil Baccouche, who is a senior, got a perfect score first, followed by his brother Hamza, who is a junior.
Ed Colby, ACT senior public relations director, says 77 Michigan seniors who took the ACT last year got a perfect 36 composite score.
Basil and Hamza Baccouche’s younger brother, Yasine, says he feels some pressure to get as good of a score on the ACT as his brothers, but the freshman thinks he’s up for it. Basil Baccouche will enroll this fall at Harvard University.
