Flint, Mich. — A man has been struck and killed by two cars police say may have been drag racing in Flint.

Police say the man was walking across Dort Highway after 11 p.m. Friday when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Before the man was hit, the cars had pulled from the parking lot of a business and accelerated along Dort Highway.

The drivers of both cars fled the area without stopping to help the man.

Police say the stretch of Dort Highway is known for people driving recklessly or drag racing.
