3 wounded by gunfire during fight at party
Grand Rapids, Mich. — Three people have been wounded during a shooting at a birthday party in western Michigan.
Grand Rapids police say Saturday in a release that the victims are 17, 18 and 38.
Officers found spent shell casings on the ground after responding late Friday night to reports of shots fired in a Grand Rapids neighborhood.
Witnesses told investigators that the shots followed a fight at the party. Several buildings were damaged by gunfire. No victims were found in the area, but officers later were called to local hospitals and a home where the three victims were taken.
No arrests have been made.
