Interstate 94 has reopened at I-69 in Port Huron after a man “went over the railing” of an overpass and into the path of an oncoming semi-truck, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.

The man, who has not been identified by authorities, went over the railing around 5:45 a.m. from the Michigan Road overpass onto westbound I-94. He landed in the path of a semi-truck and was instantly killed.

Westbound I-94 reopened around 10:40 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office. Michigan Road also briefly was closed at the I-94 overpass, but was reopened earlier Wednesday.
