Teen pleads guilty to murder in fatal October shooting
Ann Arbor, Mich. — A 17-year-old Ypsilanti boy has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and other charges in the fatal October shooting of an 18-year-old.
Delreno Gracey pleaded guilty Tuesday in a Washtenaw County courtroom to the murder charge, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
The Flint Journal reports that second-degree murder and armed robbery carry penalties of up to life in prison. His sentencing is set for June 26.
Gracey and two other teens were charged in the slaying of Jordan Klee. The Pioneer High School student was found dead Oct. 4 near the Pinelake Village Cooperative in Ann Arbor.
A maintenance worker found him with a single gunshot wound lying on a path outside the condominium complex.
