Milan schools evacuated for bomb threat

Officials with Milan Area Schools said all of the district's buildings have been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

They are also canceling school for the day, officials said in a statement on the district's website.

Officials said they are working with authorities and the Michigan State Police to investigate the threat.

Milan is located about 50 miles southwest of Detroit. The city is located in Monroe and Washtenaw counties.
