Tips sought to find missing Washtenaw County man

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a $2,500 reward for tips to find a Washtenaw County man who went missing this week.

Matthew Urban disappeared after dropping off a relative about 3 p.m. Tuesday at a business on Washtenaw Avenue in Ypsilanti, authorities said.

The 26-year-old “has not been seen at his place of employment, and has had no use of his phone, social media or financial accounts,” Washtenaw County Sheriff’s investigators said Thursday.

He was a driving a silver 2012 Dodge Caravan with a Michigan license plate BHM459.

On Friday, Urban's vehicle was found in the parking lot of the Washtenaw Community College Health and Fitness Center, 4833 E. Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor, county officials said. Two people leaving the center spotted the car and reported it to police.

Officers searched along the walking path and area around the center grounds but haven't been found Urban, they said.

He is described as 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing brown cargo pants, brown hiking boots, a green parka and carrying a gray/black nylon messenger bag.
