U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions will speak next week at an event for the Federalist Society’s Michigan Lawyers Chapter.

Sessions is expected to deliver the keynote address at the society's annual dinner and Grano Award Presentation at 5 p.m. May 31 at The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth.

The dinner will honor U.S. Senior Judge Richard F. Suhrheinrich of the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, who is a former Macomb County assistant prosecutor.

Suhrheinrich was appointed to the appeals court by President George H. W. Bush in 1990 and works out of Lansing.
