Flint – Authorities say they’re investigating the discovery of two bodies in a burning vehicle in Flint as a possible double homicide.

The Flint Fire Department says the burning vehicle was found parked at a vacant home in the city on Friday morning. Battalion Chief Ramsey Clapper tells The Flint Journal that the fire spread to a garage of the home, but it was quickly extinguished.

Michigan State Police Lt. Dave Kaiser tells WNEM-TV that the investigation is being handled as a homicide case.

Cause of death wasn’t immediately determined due to the condition of the bodies and authorities were working to determine the identities of the dead.
