Police in Imlay City are looking for a man suspected of being the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist Friday morning, officials said.

Authorities are searching for Alexander George Waschull. He is about 6-feet-3-inches tall, weighs about 250 pounds and has hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, according to Imlay City Police.

Officials said Waschull was driving a sliver Jeep when he crashed into a motorcyclist on M-53 north of Newark Road about 10 a.m. Friday.

The suspect ran from the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.

Officials also said they recovered numerous loaded firearms in his vehicle. Waschull is not allowed to have firearms in his possession due to a personal protection order.
