Memorial Day weather blissful but showers, thunderstorms likely
Beautiful blue and sunny skies will continue for much of Memorial Day but showers and thunderstorms could roll in late Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday will be mostly pleasant with sunny conditions and a high near 72 and a low of 57 degrees.
There is an 80 percent change of showers, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms, Monday evening. Humidity levels are predicted to remain at a comfortable 55 percent.
Showers are likely for Tuesday with a thunderstorm before 8 a.m. but they could also linger past the morning. Rainfall is expected to bring up to a tenth and a quarter of an inch of rain.
Tuesday evening is predicted to bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 73 and southwestern winds of 5-9 miles per hour.
Wednesday brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms and with a high near 73. The evening temperature will be around 59 with cloudy skies.
