Washtenaw deputies seek tips in fatal pedestrian-train crash

Lima Township — The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help to identify a man who died Tuesday after being hit by a train.

Officials said the crash happened at about 11:41 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Dexter-Chelsea and Lima Center roads in Lima Township.

Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies are asking the public for help to identify a man who was struck by train and died Tuesday.

The victim is a white male, about 30 years old, 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighing about 254 pounds. He has brown eyes and short, balding brown hair. He also has a 10-inch scar on his abdomen.

He was wearing a black sweatshirt, a blue UM M-LAW T-shirt, black jogging pants, as well as black, size 13 Nike running shoes and dark gray HEAD brand gloves.
