Flint boy, 3, killed as home is sprayed with gunfire
Flint – Police in Flint are trying to solve the slaying of a 3-year-old boy who was sleeping near a window when his home was peppered with gunfire.
“Turn yourself (in) and show some type of remorse,” police Chief Terence Green said. “And turn yourself in because we’re coming for you.”
Messiah Williams was shot in the head Friday night. Green said investigators believe it was a targeted shooting.
Messiah’s father said the gunmen might have been trying to hurt a live-in babysitter.
“We have no enemies,” Henry Williams said. “We work every day. We’re both garbagemen.”
Messiah was the youngest of four boys.
“You monsters shot up a house that you knew was full of kids,” Messiah’s mother, Jessica Bader, said. “You saw the whole front yard full of toys. And still went through with your evil plan. I just want you to know that you took the most innocent life.”
