UM can boast an early win over MSU with record enrollment

Chalk up an early win for the Wolverines.

After trailing rival Michigan State University in enrollment for at least two decades, the University of Michigan this year has taken the title of the largest college in Michigan.

UM has 50,278 students enrolled on its Ann Arbor campus this fall, officials announced last week. MSU has 49,659 students enrolled in classes, making it the second-largest university in the state.
