MSU's Fee Hall cleared, will remain closed for the day after being evacuated due to threat

Michigan State University Police and Public Safety said Monday it has cleared Fee Hall after it was evacuated when a bomb was reported.
The building on the East Lansing campus will remain closed for the day "out of an abundance of caution," officials said in a social media post, which also said the building is safe for re-entry.
The bomb threat was reported at approximately 12:30 p.m., MSU stated in a release, saying the person reported the threat by phone and gave specific information.
Police ask everyone to report any unattended packages, suspicious activity or suspicious people by calling (517) 355-2221.
