Southfield — Police released photos of three suspects in a smash-and-grab jewelry heist this week, including one man wielding a hammer who was dressed in a “Fresh to Death” T-shirt.

Deputy Chief Nick Loussia said the three entered the Swiss Jewelers, 23077 Greenfield, at 5:35 p.m. Monday, one apparently acting as a lookout while the other two broke out glass from display cases and scooped up miscellaneous jewelry before fleeing.

One man, described as 17-25 years old and wearing the white “Fresh to Death” T-shirt; red and blue ball cap; light colored blue jeans; black and white Nike shoes and white gloves, threatened an employee with the hammer.

Another suspect, about the same age, wore a gray hoodie with dark colored sleeves with “Nautica” on the front and dark-colored jeans.

A third man with short hair, was dressed in a green-colored shirt, khaki pants and white shoes, police said.

Anyone who can identify the suspects is asked to call police at (248) 796-5500.
