Police are asking the public’s help to find the suspect who robbed an Oakland Township sub shop.

The robbery happened at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at a Subway sandwich shop on North Adams Road, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is described as a white male with brown or hazel eyes, medium build and in his late 20s and early 30s. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black knit cap. He was clean cut with no facial hair.

Police said the man entered the shop, pointed a black handgun at the store’s lone employee and demanded she give him all of the money in the register.

She complied and turned over the money, which amounted to about $283, according to authorities. The suspect then left the store and fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery should call the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at (248) 858-4911.
