Southfield — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a shooting that occurred in the city on Sunday.

Police were called to the parking lot of the Burn Hookah Lounge at about 2:10 a.m. after reports of shots fired between two groups of people near the entrance to the lounge. Nobody was injured in the incident.

The suspected gunman is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 with a short, thin beard. He was wearing light-colored clothing and a ball cap.

The Burn Hookah Lounge is located in the 28000 block of Northwestern.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or has any information regarding this incident is asked to call the Southfield Police Department at (248) 796-5500.
