Police are looking for two armed suspects who tied up a family during an early morning home invasion in West Bloomfield Township.

Police received a 911 call at 3:22 a.m. Wednesday of the home invasion in the 5000 block of Victoria.

“The caller stated he, his wife and live-in nanny and two out of three of children were restrained by two suspects that entered the house while they were sleeping,” said Detective Lt. Curt Lawson of the West Bloomfield Police. “While they were tied up the suspects went through the house and stole several items.”

The couple’s children, ages 4 and 6, were also tied up, but not the 1-year-old.

The suspects stole the family’s white 2013 Chrysler minivan, police said. Both had black semi automatic handguns.

The first suspect is described as tall and skinny, 6 feet 3 inches tall and about 200 pounds. He wore a white dress shirt with stripes, a dark colored vest and blue jeans.

The second suspect is 5 feet 11 to 6 feet tall, 250 pounds wearing baggy blue jeans and a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call the West Bloomfield Police at (248) 975-9200.
