Troy — A 24-year-old Clinton Township man was charged Tuesday in the killing of an Auburn Hills woman found inside her car last weekend.

Cory Daniel Mullen was arraigned before Troy 52-4 District Judge Maureen M. McGinnis on charges of first-degree homicide and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony in the death of Jamila Vigier-Cage.

Vigier-Cage was found Saturday night in her car parked behind the One Source Talent office at 2563 Industrial Row. She was found slumped over in the driver’s seat, shot multiple times in the head and upper body.

McGinnis entered a not guilty plea on Mullen's behalf and ordered him held in the Oakland County Jail without bond pending a March 18 pre-exam conference.

A preliminary investigation revealed Mullen and the victim knew each other and had dated, police said.
