Sheriffs search for 2 in Commerce Twp. pizzeria robbery

Commerce Township — Deputies are on the lookout for two men who robbed a pizzeria at gunpoint late Sunday night.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, the robbery occurred at about 11:30 p.m. when two men entered Dolly’s Pizza located in the 8000 block of Cooley Lake Road.

According to reports, the robbers entered the restaurant through the unlocked back door and confronted a lone employee with a handgun.

They ordered the victim onto the floor and then stole cash from the register, a wall-mounted television and the employee’s wallet. One subject fled through the back door while the other left through the front door.

No one was injured in the incident.

The robbers were described as each being about 6 feet tall and wearing blue and black clothing.
