Southfield police looking for armed robber

Southfield — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed robber who held up a CVS store Sunday evening.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at the CVS located in the 18100 block of W. 10 Mile at about 8:45 p.m. At that time, the suspect entered an office in the back of the store that was occupied by an employee.

The suspect implied that he had a weapon and ordered her to turn over the money or she would be shot. The victim complied and the suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The store employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a male, 30 to 40 years of age, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3 and 220 to 240 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat with “Detroit” on the front, white T-shirt, black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
