The Memory Project art exhibit comes to Holocaust museum
Farmington Hills — A multi-media exhibit looking at a family’s resilience and eventual joy despite trauma and loss stemming from World War II in Europe and the Holocaust is coming to the Detroit area.
Artist Roz Jacobs’ and filmmaker Laurie Weisman’s The Memory Project opens at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus in Farmington Hills. It will remain on display through Aug. 16.
The exhibit explores the life of Jacobs’ uncle who vanished in Poland and features Jacobs’ mother, a Holocaust survivor.
Admission is free with museum admission or membership.
