Man said he was robbed by his cousin in Pontiac

Pontiac — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an incident in which a Pontiac man was assaulted and robbed by two men who had given him a ride to an ATM.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Franklin.

The victim said he had been driven to a store by the men and then at knife point was robbed of $40 that he had just withdrawn.

According to the 34-year-old victim, one of the robbers was his cousin.

The suspects fled the scene in a Chrysler Sebring.
