Troy — A 35-year-old Rochester Hills man was found dead Saturday on his knees in another man’s front yard, police said.

The homeowner called 911 around 9:15 a.m. after finding the man in his yard on the 2500 block of Binbrooke in Troy, police said. There were no signs of trauma on the body, which was slumped forward on the lawn.

“The autopsy was conducted (Sunday). There were no signs of any sort of exterior trauma to the victim,” Sgt. Meghan Lehman said. “So we’re awaiting toxicology results at this point.”

The man had identification on him, Lehman said. Police are withholding his name until family notifications are completed.

He did not have a cellphone.

“No drugs, no obvious signs of trauma, no obvious sign of cause of death,” Lehman said. “The deceased had a wallet on him so robbery does not appear to be a factor.”

Lehman said no nearby vehicles were connected to the victim and area residents did not know him.

“There are no obvious signs of what happened,” she said. “So it’s going to take some investigation.”
