Police: Sexual assault reported on Oakland U. campus

Oakland University police are investigating a reported sexual assault on campus.
The incident, which was reported to police Tuesday, occurred in a vehicle near the Ann V. Nicholson Student Apartments around 6 p.m. Sept. 8, department officials said in a statement.
“The suspect and victim met through social media and the victim willingly entered the suspect’s vehicle,” the statement read. “Police believe the suspect could be a potential threat to the campus community.”
The suspect is described as a male of Middle Eastern descent who drove a black car.
